Six Practical Stages

Viewing by appointment with access arranged through the yard, marina or owner.

Offer made with any known conditions stated clearly before contract.

10% deposit held in a client account after contract.

Survey booked by the buyer. Lift-out and survey fees are buyer costs.

Sea trial arranged when terms require it, with third-party skipper charged at £180 half day or £320 full day if needed.
06
Completion follows agreed findings, cleared funds, documents and key handover.

Asking prices do not include survey, lift-out, insurance, berthing transfer, storage, yard labour or repairs that may be negotiated after survey. Those costs are agreed separately and should be budgeted before the offer becomes emotional.
